The Amazing Maize Maze has a 20 year track record of providing a high level of corporate teambuilding success with the use of its trademarked Game Board puzzle in our 5 acre corn field. Groups come back year after year to take on the new maze and new theme.

The Back 40 Adventure

The Back 40 Adventure is our exercise and imagination area with over 10 different activities and attractions that will excite the mind and body. This is a self-guided, unlimited play area.

Cow to Cone

Available Monday – Friday in May – August

1 hour, 10:00am - 6:00pm

• Ages: Preschool – 1st Grade
• $7.00 per student, parent, and sibling (10 minimum)

Ever been asked where milk comes from? We will talk about all the important parts of a cow as we dress the teacher up to look like a cow and discuss what happens to the milk once it leaves the dairy farm. Children will have a chance to milk our pretend cow, look at products made with milk, tour the ice cream shop and make an ice cream treat.

The Fabulous 5

Available Monday – Friday in May – August

1 hour, 10:00am - 6:00pm

• Ages: Preschool – 1st Grade
• $7.00 per student, parent, and sibling (10 minimum)

• Add-on the Back 40 play area for $3.00 per student

Children will demonstrate problem solving by following clues in a scavenger hunt. They will cultivate awareness of the five things a plant needs to survive and learn what a plant needs to grow. As they explore the farm with the Long Acre Farms teacher, children will make a bracelet using the 5 clues and end with planting a seed they can take home.

The Farm Scene Animal Tracks Maze & Back 40

Available Monday – Friday in May – August

1 hour, 10:00am - 6:00pm

• $7.00 per student, parent, and sibling (10 minimum)
• Teachers and paid staff are complimentary

The Animal Track Maze is designed for smaller children. The goal is for the children to become a detective to look for animal tracks, use a crayon to get rubbings of the animal tracks. Match the tracks up with the rubbing outside the maze to discover who stole the Farmer’s Pie. Once they are finished they can continue to explore the Back 40 area and participate in the dozen of activities.

Maze Program Map Reading #1

Available Tuesdays & Fridays in Sept. – Oct.

9:00am - 3:00pm

• Grades 2-4
• $7.00 per student, parent, and sibling (10 minimum)

• Add-on the Back 40 play area for $3.00 per student

Each team gets their own map of the maze and learn how to read the map and navigate the paths following a predetermined journey. Teams carry a flag and use map skills to find 8 key checkpoint and the way out.

Maze Program Jr Teambuilding

Available Tuesdays & Fridays in August – October

  • Grades 4+
  • $7.00 per student, parent, and sibling (minimum of 30 guests in August, 20 in September & October)

A Long Acre staff member will guide the group through a “stalk talk” explaining how the maze works and set some goals and expectations for each group. Each team of 4-6 will receive a blank game board to complete and as they journey through the maze they will work together to build the maze map puzzle.

Fall Farm Fun

Available Wednesdays & Thursdays in Sept. – Oct.

1 hour 15 minutes, 9:00am - 3:00pm
  • Ages: 3 years old – 1st Grade
  • $7.00 per student, parent, and sibling

Gemstone Panning

Available Weekdays in May – October

1 hour 15 minutes, 9:00am - 3:00pm
  • Ages: 4+
  • $6.00 per person (4-5 oz bag of gems)
  • $11.o0 per person (10 – 11 oz bag of gems, rubies, emeralds, arrow head and crystal points
  • Teachers and chaperones are complimentary
  • Add-on the Back 40 play area for $3.00 per student

We will transform your students into Jr. Prospectors as they learn about how rocks and minerals are formed and the difference between the two. Using their own screen and bag of ore they will sift through the rough at our sluice to uncover their gemstones. Each student will receive a classification brochure.

Private Events

The Party Barn

Available May – October

From family gathering to milestone birthdays, the Party Barn makes a great setting for your private parties of 50 or more people. The Party Barn is a seasonal, renovated hay barn with a vintage feel and banquet capacity.  The barn will give you privacy from the public, but easy access to the outdoor activities. You may personalize the space with your own décor or leave it as is with twinkle lights and rustic charm. The space features a corner stage, electricity, traditional bathrooms behind the barn, tables, chairs, plastic table covering, front covered porch, and side patio. The Barn can comfortably accommodate up to 150 for seated events.

It’s perfect for reunions, surprise parties, graduation parties, showers, rehearsal dinners.

White Farm House

Available May – October

Our newly renovated white farm house is the perfect intimate space for your next shower, business meeting, rehearsal dinner or small gathering! The White Farm House can accommodate up to 30 guests (on first floor) and provides a private space for you and your guests. The space features two floors and two bathrooms, tables and chairs.

It’s perfect for baby showers, bridal showers, private wine tastings, small meeting space.

Large Groups

The tasting room provides an intimate, casual setting for networking and socializing.  Capacity in the tasting room is 35 people however in the spring, summer and fall we can accommodate larger groups on the deck, lawn and tent.

Plan your dream wedding at the farm! Our renovated 1920’s Red Barn is the perfect location to plan and unforgettable evening. Our unique venue will allow guests the opportunity to explore the farm, enjoy wine from JD Wine Cellars, and dance under the bistro lighting in our intimate barn setting.

Our Red Barn has an open floor plan that allows seating for approx. 150 guests. Larger weddings, up to 300 guests, can be accommodated in a beautiful large white tent overlooking our pond. Both options provide a memorable experience for you & your guests.

The farm landscaping offers a gorgeous backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. The ceremonies are available by our pond and includes a separate wedding house for the bride/ groom and attendants to get ready in. Conveniently located next to the barn & ceremony site.

We are a full-service venue! So, allow us to handle your venue, catering & bar needs. We have a number of packages to suit your needs. Please contact us for information.

We are known for our flavorful, melt in your mouth Pulled Pork meals. Our pork is dry rubbed and slow smoked over apple wood for 18 hours, then brushed with our homemade BBQ sauce. But we don’t stop there! We offer a wide range of other delicious BBQ options, fresh wraps & salads, vegetarian options, and new to 2017 is our Wood-Fired Pizza oven!

FAQ

How do I schedule a Long Acre Farms birthday party?

Give us a call at 315-986-4202 or fill out an online reservation request form.

Is a deposit required?

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party. The balance is due on the day of your party.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Cash, and Checks.

How many guests can I invite?

Please check the package description for how many children and adults are included. You can invite as many people as you would like, but there may be an additional fee on top of the package cost.

Is there an additional charge for siblings, parents, and/or caregivers?

For our Spring and Summer Farm Fun parties, there is no additional charge for parents or care-givers to stay for the duration of the party. Siblings and additional party guests are $4 each. In the Fall, guests are welcome in the reserved party area, but anyone over the age of 2 must have a wristband in order to enter the admission areas (Maze, Back 40), so there is an additional cost.

What time should my guests and I arrive at the party?

Please try not to arrive earlier than 15 minutes prior to the party time as there will likely be another group in the party area. We ask that party hosts and guests arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled party time. This allows time for everyone to check in and gather, but it’s best to have as little waiting time as possible for the kids.

Do I need to stay at the party?

The party host is required to stay at the party. Other adults are welcome to stay or they may drop off their child and return at the party end time.

Will Long Acre Farms provide supervision in the play area(s)?

Our staff is available at all times; we are here to insure the safety of all guests on the Farm, but parents are always ultimately responsible for their children.

Why are Fall parties different than the rest of the year?

After Labor Day Pumpkin Harvest Festival Weekends begin and that means many more attractions are open for your enjoyment. The wristbands gives you entry into the Maze and Back 40 plus unlimited Hayrides and Cow Train rides!

Can I use my own decorations and/or paper products in the party room?

You’re welcome to use your own decorations and paper products in the party room, but we do not allow any stapling, confetti, silly string, noise makers, piñatas, or pets in the party area.

Do you provide party room set up and clean up?

We will set up the party area and clean up afterwards. We want you to just enjoy your child’s special day!

Can I bring in my own food and drinks?

You may bring cake, cupcakes or goodie bags to your party. There are add-on options for ice cream, ice cream cake, pizza, and drinks. If you would like to order a custom Ice Cream Cake please give us 48 hours advance notice. No other outside food is permitted on the Farm.

Are there any additional items I need to bring to the party?

If you will be bringing a cake, please bring a serving knife, candles (please note- sparkler candles are not allowed), and a lighter. You may also find bags or boxes to carry your gifts helpful. Please be mindful that this is a farm; remind guests to wear comfortable shoes, and sunscreen.

How far in advance do I need to book my party?

Although we will do our best to accommodate last minute requests, we ask that you book your party at least 2 weeks in advance.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my party?

To avoid additional charges, we require at least 10 days advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your party. We will do our best to find you another date and time. If you cancel or reschedule your party within 2 days of your party date, you will be responsible for 100% of the total party price. Remember that your deposit is non-refundable (no exceptions).

Can I plan a party on my own?

You are welcome to come and grab an available space to host your own party then purchase wristbands or gemstone panning bags as needed! Please remember that we only allow cake or cupcakes brought onto the farm, as we are not a park.
