FAQs
Are dogs allowed at the farm?
Dogs are welcome to visit the courtyard area only & must remain on a leash. Dogs cannot enter the maze, inside buildings or any play equipment. Exception for service dogs.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes! Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere on the farm. During the fall season the corn cannon & snack shack in the Back 40 are cash only.
How long does it take to go through the maze?
The average completion time is 90 minutes, but this time depends on what your goal is. Do you just want to find the exit? Your time will be shorter. Do you want to find all the mailbox pieces? Your time may be longer.
Is the maze open daily in the fall?
No. The maze is only open on the weekends during our Fall Festivals AND Friday evenings for moonlight maze. Visit the fall page for more details.
Do adults have to pay to go in the admission area?
Yes. The admission area is like a theme park in that everyone 3 and above must purchase a wristband (2 and under free). There is no charge to visit the farm and explore the courtyard area. We strive to provide affordable entertainment, but in order to keep the farm running and maintained, everyone must pay for the back 40. Many of our frequent visitors choose to purchase a season pass to save! Find more info here!
Can I bring in food and beverages?
We do not allow any outside food/beverages or coolers to be brought onto the farm.
Can we leave and come back?
Yes, if you have purchased a back 40 ticket or fall barnbuster ticket- your wristband is valid for the full day. Wristbands do not transfer to different days.
Do children need an adult to supervise?
Any children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult in the Back40 and maze. While we are happy to provide a fun place for your children to play- we are not babysitters and we ask that you supervise the children in your group during your visit.
Fall moonlight maze evenings: all kids under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
