Whether you are a small business, department or a large corporation, we have the perfect setting for fostering team spirit. Learning to work together in a group setting can be challenging, but we all bring to the table an array of personal strengths and weakness that when harnessed correctly can accomplish many feats – remember the “TEAM” concept of “Together Everyone Accomplishes More.”

The Amazing Maize Maze has a 17 year track record of providing a high level of corporate teambuilding success with the use of its trademarked Game Board puzzle in our 5 acre music filled corn field. Groups come back year after year to take on the new maze and new theme. We focus of having fun, relaxing in a country setting and communicating with each other to complete the maze challenge. We host Maze Teambuilding events on Tuesdays and Fridays in September and October. Prices begin at $15 per person with a minimum of 20 people.

Custom vouchers available in any amount that can be used anywhere on the farm just like cash! Socials & Picnics

Events can include Teambuilding, Full Farm Meal or Appetizers, Customer Appreciation, Employee Appreciation, Private Party Barn facility, speaker & meeting set-up, and indoor entertainment. Long Acre Farms is big enough and has a variety of activities to entertain guests of all ages, yet is small enough that you can still spend time together as a group.

The Party Barn: Available MAY – OCTOBER

From family get-togethers to milestone birthdays, the Party Barn at Long Acre Farms makes a great setting for your private parties of 50 or more people. The Party Barn is a seasonal, renovated hay barn with a vintage feel and banquet capacity. The Barn will give you privacy from the public, but easy access to the Maze, The Back 40 Adventure and Courtyard. You may personalize the space with your own décor or leave it as is with twinkle lights and rustic charm. The space features a corner stage with electricity for music and speakers. There are traditional restrooms behind the facility. Tables, chairs and plastic table coverings are included with your rental. The Barn can accommodate up to 130 people for seated events and up to 175 for casual gatherings and includes a corner stage, tables, chairs, electricity, bathrooms and large covered porch.

We have hosted company picnics, family reunions, church groups and many memorable milestone birthday parties just to name a few. You can expect great activities, fantastic food all with the privacy of our unique red Party Barn. Packages can be adapted to the needs and budgetary concerns of your group.

Large Group Events

Are you planning an event for a large group (400 people or more)? We can accommodate you! Contact us and we can provide you a quote for exclusive use to the Farm.

Many groups love the size of our farm in that it is large enough to provide a variety of activities that will entertain all age groups but small enough that you don’t lose sight of your group for the whole day. Long Acre Farms has worked with a certified teacher to correlate our field trips with the NYS Standards in a variety of curriculum areas. Please feel free to call us with any additional questions you may have – we’d love to host you!

Maze Program #1: Map Reading (Grades 2-4)

Each team gets their own map of the maze and learns how to navigate the paths following a predetermined journey. Teams carry a flag and use map reading skills to find 8 key checkpoints and the way out.

Availability: Sept & October on Tuesdays & Fridays between 9am and 3pm. Cost: $7.00 per student (minimum of 20) Or include the Back 40 Activity area for $10.00 per student.

Teachers Complimentary & Chaperones 1:5

Maze Program #2: JR. Teambuilding (Grades 4-12)

A Long Acre staff member will guide the group through a “stalk talk” explaining how the maze works and setting goals and expectations for each group. Each team of 4-6 will receive a blank game board to complete. Along their journey, the teams will work together to find mailboxes that will complete the maze map and Kernels of Knowledge to complete that year’s themed puzzle.

Availability: Some dates in August available- contact us for more information. Available in September & October on Tuesdays & Fridays between 9am and 3pm

Cost: $7.00 per student (30 student minimum in August, 20 student minimum in Sept & Oct.) or include the Back 40 Activity area for $10.00 per student.

Teachers Complimentary & Chaperones at a 1:5 ratio.

The Farm Scene Animal Tracks

The Animal Track Maze is designed for smaller children. The goal of this maze is for the children to look for animal tracks, use a crayon to get rubbings of the tracks they leave to discover who stole the Farmer’s Pie. They are animal detectives for the journey!  $6.00 per person ages 2 and up.

Gemstone Panning Program #1

After a short discussion on the different types of rocks, gems, and minerals each student will get a bag of ore that they can use at the sluice. They may keep all of the gems and minerals that they find. A take-home brochure is provided so the lesson can continue at home

Availability: Monday-Friday, May-October

Cost: $6 per person (4-5 ounces of gems) or $11 per person for a rubies and emeralds bag (10-11 ounces of gems); Teachers and paid staff are complimentary

Ages: grades 3-adult

Gemstone Panning Program #2: Old West Experience

Includes Gemstone Panning and Rope Making activities

Each student will go home with 4-5 ounces of gems, a classification brochure, Dig Into Rocks booklet and get a neckless with a gemstone cage.

Gemstone Panning

We will transform your students into Jr. Prospectors as they learn about how rocks and minerals are formed and the difference between the two. Using their own screen and bag of ore, they will sift through the rough at our sluice to uncover their gemstones. Each student will receive a classification brochure and Dig Into Rocks booklet to continue the learning at home.

Rope Making

Each student will have a hands on part in creating their own neckless with a cage attached to hold their favorite gem. The student will use the hand crank to turn their own rope and then get a chance to be the rope guide operator for a classmate.

The timing for this program will depend on the number of students. There is a minimum of 10 students for this program.

Availability: Monday-Friday, May-August

Cost: $12 per person; Teachers and paid staff are complimentary.

Ages: Grades 3-8

The Back 40 Adventure

The Back 40 Adventure is our exercise and imagination area with over 10 different activities and attractions that will excite the mind and body. This is a self-guided, unlimited play area.

Availability: The Back 40 is available for school/rec groups Monday-Friday May-October.

Cost: $6 per student. Teachers and paid staff are complimentary. Parents and Siblings must purchase wristbands.

Ages: 2-92!

New **The Fabulous 5 – Pre K – 1stgrade  

1 hour program

Children will demonstrate problem-solving by following clues in a scavenger hunt.

Children cultivate an awareness of the five things a plant needs to survive.

Children show interest and curiosity in what a plant needs to grow.

Class will join a Long Acre Farms teacher on a scavenger hunt for the 5 clues they need to discover what a plant needs to grow. Children will build a bracelet along the way using the 5 clues. Class will end with hands on planting of a seed that each student takes home.

Cost: $7.00 per student; 10-person minimum. Teachers and paid staff are complimentary. Parents and Siblings are $7 each or Include the Back 40 Activity area for $10.00 per student

Cow to Cone

Ever been asked where milk comes from? Now you can show and tell! We will dress a teacher up like a cow and talk about all the important parts of a cow and what happens to the milk after the cow makes it. Students will milk our pretend cow, Bessie, Meet our goats and then each student will get a chance to make their own sundae. The program also includes our interactive dairy game, where students learn to classify what is a dairy product and what is not.

Availability: Monday-Friday May-August

Cost: $7.00 per student; 10 person minimum. Teachers and paid staff are complimentary. Parents and Siblings are $7 each  or include the Back 40 Activity area for $10.00 per student.

Ages: preschool-1st grade

Little Farmer Pumpkin Tour

There are two options for this program: A) Self-Guided B) Guided. Each reservation will be given a scheduled time for their educational hayride when they receive a reservation confirmation. Educational hand-outs will be emailed to teachers with their confirmation as well.

Fall Farm Fun:

Available Wednesdays & Thursdays in Sept. – Oct.

1 hour 15 minutes, 9:00am – 3:00pm
  • Ages: 3 years old – 1st Grade
  • $7.00 per student, parent, and sibling
  • Teachers and chaperones are complimentary (1:5)
  • Add-on the Back 40 play area for $3.00 per student

Groups Rates

Groups of 20 or more can save $1 per ticket on the Barnbuster Tickets on the weekends and Moonlight Maze Tickets in the evening. To take advantage of this rate all of the tickets must be purchased in one transaction. Reservations are not necessary however a call ahead for groups of 30 or more would be appreciated.

Long Acre Farms is a third generation farm and we are always looking at ways to create new and exciting memories for our guests.  In 2001, we decided to renovate “Big Red” and turn it into a unique rental facility for your special day. We feel we have the perfect venue for your magical day.  Our Big Red Barn has an open floor plan that allows for seating for approx. 150 guests and with our twinkling bistro lights we are sure you will love the intimate setting this barn creates. Larger weddings can be accommodated in a beautiful white party tent over looking the pond for a unique memorable experience.


Beautiful outdoor ceremonies are available at our pond and include a separate bridal house for bride and attendants to get ready in.

We are conveniently located 25 miles from Rochester, 20 minutes from the NY State Thruway and only seconds away from creating that special moment!

We are known for our flavorful, melt in your mouth Pulled Pork meals. Our pork is dry rubbed and slow smoked over apple wood for 18 hours, then brushed with our homemade BBQ sauce.
